Welcome to my classroom! My name is Witney Stern and I teach all things ELA as well as Yearbook and Creative Writing. I have been working at Oxford Bridges High School since 2014. Before Bridges, I graduated from Central Michigan University in 2009 with a major in English and Secondary Education, and a minor in History. One of my main philosophies as an English teacher is to get kids excited about reading by offering them texts that are modern and geared toward young adult readers. I believe a student that enjoys reading becomes a lifelong learner. Outside of school I choreograph musicals for high school theatre groups, travel whenever possible, and take on as many artistic projects as I can.
